ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENTS

We offer treatments for lines and wrinkles with both prescription and non-prescription options. A face-to-face consultation is needed to determine the best treatment. Options include BOTOX®, Profhilo, Obagi, peels, and fillers. Botulinum toxin relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles. Note: BOTOX® is prescription-only.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

At Hampton Aesthetics, we offer advanced anti-wrinkle treatments designed to soften lines, smooth the skin, and restore a more youthful appearance—without the need for surgery. Whether you’re concerned about frown lines, crow’s feet, or forehead creases, our medically-led treatments are tailored to suit your unique facial features and goals.

What Are Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?

Our anti-wrinkle treatments use clinically approved injectables—commonly known as Botulinum Toxin (often referred to by brand names like BOTOX®)—to temporarily relax targeted muscles. This reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions and helps prevent deeper lines from forming.

What is Botox?
Botox is a brand name for the most popular botulinum toxin (type A)in the market. Botolinum toxin is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is a prescription medicine that is injected in to themuscles.
Yes there are a few botulinum toxinsavailable in the UK.
We will usethe BOTOX Cosmetic brand by Allergan which is the only neuro toxin brand to receive approval of aesthetic indications beyond the frown lines. It is the most widely researched and studied treatment of its kind, approved for use in 96 countries. The safety andefficacy of BOTOX® Cosmetic has been described in more than 495 peer-reviewed articles in scientific and medical journals. It is the market leader with about 90% of the treatment targeting the upper face.

Botox is approved to be used for a variety of reasons like
headaches, bladder problems, some muscle problems, excessive sweating as well as to
improve the look of moderate to severe facial wrinkles.
At Hampton Aesthetic Clinic, we can treat a wide variety of concerns with Botox like your
frown line, forehead lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, smoker’s lines, pebbled chin, droopy
mouth corners, gummy smile, turkey neck, teeth grinding/jaw reduction and excessive
sweating.

Botox can be used to treat all wrinkles which are the result of normal facial movement. When it is injected into a specific muscle in the face, it blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscle. This means that the nerve ending cannot tell the muscle to move, hence there will be less wrinkling of the skin in the areas treated. You will have a smooth appearance than before. So in simple terms, Botox helps to relax the muscles being treated.
You will always be treated by Dr Pri who is an experienced medical doctor trained in aesthetics. He has over 15 years’ experience working for the NHS and private practice across the UK. He is qualified from leading aesthetic institutions to carry out basic, advanced and masterclass techniques for facial rejuvenation. He is also fully insured to carry out aesthetic procedures.
When you initially make the appointment, we will send you some instructions on how to prepare for the appointment. For example, we will ask you to avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours prior to the procedure. Once at the Clinic, first you will be greeted and handed over the registration and medical form. Then the doctor will go the form with you and check your suitability for the procedure. You can then discuss what your concerns are and what you want to achieve and ask any questions you have. He will then assess your face, take some photos before the procedure for insurance purposes. You will be looked after by his assistant, Priya, who will make sure any make up is removed and the area is cleansed. Then the doctor will mark the areas in your face and then the assistant will apply some ice before the procedure to minimise bruising and pain. Then you will have the Botox injected. Ice will be applied during the procedure too and you will be kept comfortable throughout. Once it’s over, we will apply some arnica gel to further minimise anybruising. You will be given Aftercare advice and make sure you understandeverything.
No! It will just feel like some tiny pinches and it will be over before you know it. When correctly injected, it should not be painful.
The procedure itself only takes less than 15 minutes. But your Botox appointment is for half an hour so you can have the consultation and discuss needs and prepare for the appointment fully and the procedure will never be rushed.
How long does it take to recover from the procedure?
There is no recovery time for Botox but there are few things you need to do to look after yourself a few hours after. We will provide you with the Aftercare information and explain everything you need to do.
No, but you may feel the area been treated a little tighter than before but in a good way.
Botox injections are relatively safe but there are minor side effects like headaches, pain, swelling and bruising at the injection site for some people. Most of these should only last a few hours or a few days. Most people have no side effects at all. To minimise bruising, we advise clients to avoid alcohol and certain vitamins and drugs and also apply ice and arnica on the day of the procedure.
The results will last for 3-4 months usually but depend on your life style and metabolic factors. For some people it may lastlonger.
No. BOTOX is a technique-sensitive treatment. Botox will deliver subtle results when you are treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and a medical expert in facial anatomy. You will look like yourself but a few years younger and refreshed if anything with less visible wrinkles!
No. The wrinkles will just go back to how they were originally. So there are no negative effects if you don’t keep up with it or stop having it.
The effects of Botox are temporary and there are no major long term effects that have been studied extensively. Usually most require less Botox overtime for maintenance as the muscles weaken over time. Study in 2015 has shown that the treatment will be more effective if used repeatedly. However if you have it too regularly before it is due within 3 months, you may develop resistance to it. So it is important you get your Botox done as prescribed by your cosmetic doctor.
We will only treat people over 18 years of age. Some people use it as a preventative measure for wrinkling but we recommend that you only get treated when you have wrinkles and you can gauge its effectiveness better that way.
No. You always need to go through a medicalquestionnaire with a professional to check the suitability of the procedure before you can be prescribed Botox.
Yes, we offer free no obligation consultations so you can discuss all your concerns and check suitability. You can then take your time to think whether to go ahead with having the procedure or not.
The price depends on the number of areas being treated. The frown line is counted as one area, so is crow’s feet on both eyes. To treat the upper face three areas, which is the most popular treatment we do, you will be treated for the frown line, forehead lines and crow’s feet. That treatment will cost you £275. In addition, if you also want to get your bunny lines treated for example, you pay an extra £50. The price list can be seen on the website (www.hamptonaesthetics.com/treatments).
